Boat Wraps & Hull Branding
Frequently Asked Questions
While a boat decal installation might only take a few hours, a full hull wrap typically requires 2 to 4 days depending on the size of the vessel. This allows for meticulous cleaning, application, and the necessary "curing" time before the boat is relaunched.
We generally recommend wrapping down to a few inches below the waterline. For boats that remain in the water permanently, anti-fouling paint is still required on the very bottom. The wrap is applied first, and the anti-foul is then applied slightly overlapping the vinyl edge to create a water-tight seal.
Yes. Our wraps are designed to handle the high-speed friction and salt exposure of Singapore’s coastal waters. With proper care, a marine wrap will last 5 to 7 years.
Pricing depends on the total square footage of the hull and the complexity of the curves. A partial hull wrap for a small pleasure craft may start from SGD $1,500, while full wraps for larger yachts are quoted based on a physical site survey. A wrap will hide colour fading and minor scratches, but it will not hide dents, deep gouges, or structural damage. In fact, vinyl can sometimes highlight surface imperfections. We recommend repairing any major dings before the wrapping process begins.
Professional removal using heat guns and plastic scrapers ensures the vinyl lifts cleanly without damaging the gelcoat. We recommend having wraps removed professionally after 5–7 years to avoid adhesive residue.
