Stickers/Labels
Sticker labels are printed adhesive materials used to identify, brand, track, or decorate products and surfaces. Types include vinyl stickers, static cling stickers, waterproof product labels, BOPP labels, polyester labels, flow direction tapes, barcode labels, and QR code stickers. Key users are food and beverage brands, cosmetic manufacturers, retail product packagers, safety officers, and asset management teams. Prices start from SGD 30 for 100 small vinyl stickers and reach SGD 350 for 1,000 waterproof labels..
What Are Sticker Labels?
Sticker labels are pressure-sensitive printed materials with an adhesive backing and a release liner. They are used across nearly every industry: product labelling for retail sale, compliance and safety labels required by law, asset tracking labels for IT and facilities management, directional flow tapes for factories and warehouses, promotional stickers for events and campaigns, and decorative branding stickers for packaging. The distinction between a sticker and a label is primarily one of use — labels typically carry functional information (ingredients, barcodes, serial numbers) while stickers tend to be decorative or promotional. Signarama CBD produces sticker labels using two production routes. For short to medium runs and custom die-cut shapes, we use the HP Latex wide-format system with the Zünd digital cutting system — this combination handles vinyl stickers, laminated labels, and custom-contour cut shapes with precision and no tooling costs. For high-volume product labels requiring consistent colour on specific substrates (BOPP, polyester), we specify the most appropriate production method based on your run length and material. All inks are Greenguard Gold certified for low VOC emissions.Types of Sticker Labels We Produce

When to Use Sticker Labels
- You are launching a food or beverage product and need product labels that carry ingredients, nutritional information, and branding on a waterproof material suitable for refrigerated display.
- You are running a promotional campaign and need branded stickers for event giveaways, packaging seals, or retail product enhancement.
- You manage a warehouse, factory, or office and need flow direction tapes, safety labels, or asset tracking tags applied to equipment and surfaces.
- You need QR code stickers printed in bulk to link physical products or menus to digital content — for example, restaurant table stickers linking to an online ordering system.
- You produce cosmetic or personal care products and need BOPP or polyester labels that resist water, oil, and alcohol on bottles and jars.
- You need barcode labels for a retail product run that must be scanned at Singapore supermarket or pharmacy checkouts.
- You are rebranding and need to apply a new label over existing packaging without reprinting the entire pack — a targeted label overlay is cost-effective for short-term bridging.
- You need compliance or regulatory labels (SCDF fire safety, MOM workplace safety, food allergen notices) in Singapore-standard formats.
When Sticker Labels May Not Be the Right Fit
- You need large-format wall or floor coverage. Sticker labels are generally small-format items. For wall murals or floor graphics covering more than 0.5 sqm, see Wall Graphics or Floor Graphics.
- You need printed vinyl for vehicle bodywork. Vehicle wraps require cast vinyl with specialist adhesive and heat-stretching installation. Standard sticker labels are not suitable. See Vehicle Signs.
- You need glass window graphics at scale. For large shopfront window applications, one-way vision or frosted film is the appropriate product. See One-Way Vision or Frosted Film.
- You need very high-volume label runs (above 50,000 pieces). At very high volumes, flexographic or offset label printing is significantly more cost-effective than digital wide-format production. We will advise honestly if your run length exceeds our cost-effective range.
- You need tamper-evident or security labels. Tamper-evident VOID labels, holographic security labels, and serialised security stickers require specialist label production not covered under our standard sticker label service.

Sticker Label Lifespan
- Indoor (stable conditions, no direct UV): White gloss vinyl with laminate — 5–7 years. BOPP labels — 3–5 years. Paper labels — 1–3 years.
- Indoor (near windows, intermittent UV): Vinyl with UV-resistant laminate — 3–5 years. Unlaminated paper labels fade within 6–12 months.
- Outdoor (direct weathering): Cast vinyl with UV laminate — 4–6 years. Calendered vinyl with laminate — 2–4 years. BOPP labels are not rated for prolonged direct outdoor UV.
- Refrigerated and cold-chain environments: BOPP labels — 2–4 years through temperature cycling if applied to dry, clean surfaces. Polyester labels — 3–5 years. Standard paper labels delaminate within weeks in cold-chain use.
- High-contact surfaces (asset tags on equipment): Polyester labels with permanent adhesive — 5+ years through cleaning, wiping, and physical handling. Destructible polyester labels are designed to fracture on removal attempts.
- Floor direction tapes: Indoor use with normal foot traffic — 2–4 years. High-traffic areas with wheeled trolleys — 1–2 years. Forklift-rated floor tape — 1–3 years depending on traffic frequency.
Maintaining Sticker Labels
- Clean label surfaces with a damp cloth only. Do not use solvent-based cleaners (alcohol, acetone, spirit) on vinyl or BOPP labels — they dissolve inks and degrade adhesive edges.
- For food product labels, wipe down with a damp cloth before use. Do not submerge labels in water unless they are specifically rated as submersion-proof. BOPP and polyester labels handle brief water exposure; paper labels do not.
- Do not scrub label surfaces. Abrasion damages the laminate layer and causes delamination, allowing moisture to enter and lift the label edges.
- Replace flow direction tapes when edges lift. Lifted tape edges are a slip and trip hazard. In Singapore workplaces covered by the Workplace Safety and Health Act, damaged floor markings must be replaced promptly.
- Store unused label stock in a cool, dry location. Label rolls or sheets stored in high humidity or above 30°C can see adhesive migration through the liner, reducing bond strength when applied.
- Apply labels to clean, dry, grease-free surfaces. Surface contamination is the most common cause of label failure. Wipe surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry fully before application.

Sticker Label Applications by Industry
Food and beverage. F&B brands use BOPP waterproof labels on bottles, jars, pouches, and containers to carry brand identity, ingredient lists, nutritional information, and regulatory information required by Singapore Food Agency (SFA) standards. Labels must survive refrigeration, brief water contact, and supermarket handling. We regularly produce labels for local F&B brands entering NTUC FairPrice, Cold Storage, and online retail channels.
Cosmetics and personal care. Cosmetic manufacturers use clear vinyl or BOPP labels on bottles and jars where a "no-label" transparent look is required, or white BOPP where opaque branding is needed. Labels must resist oil, alcohol, and water — common contact substances in personal care environments. We print with HP Latex Greenguard Gold certified inks.
Retail packaging and promotions. Retailers use vinyl stickers to seal packaging, indicate promotions ("Buy 1 Get 1 Free", "New Flavour"), or add seasonal branding to standard stock. QR code stickers on packaging link to digital product pages, recipe content, or loyalty programmes. Cotton On and similar retailers use promotional sticker sets for limited-edition product releases.
Industrial and facilities management. Facilities managers at institutions including A*STAR and Sembcorp Marine use polyester asset labels for IT equipment, lab instruments, and infrastructure components. Flow direction tapes are applied at factory and warehouse floors to comply with workplace safety requirements and guide material handling. These labels must survive cleaning with industrial agents without lifting or fading.
Events, hospitality, and government. Hotels including Holiday Inn and Park Regis Singapore use branded stickers for in-room amenity packaging, key card wallets, and event collateral. Government agencies including the Ministry of Manpower and Singapore Police Force use safety and compliance labels meeting specific regulatory formats. Esplanade uses custom branded stickers for merchandise, promotional materials, and seasonal campaigns.

Frequently Asked Questions — Sticker Labels Singapore
What types of sticker labels does Signarama CBD produce?
We produce vinyl stickers, static cling stickers, waterproof BOPP labels, polyester (PET) asset labels, QR code stickers, barcode labels, custom die-cut labels in any shape, and floor direction tapes. Each type is suited to different environments and applications.
How much do custom sticker labels cost in Singapore?
Small vinyl stickers (50mm, qty 100) cost SGD 30–80. BOPP waterproof labels (50 × 75mm, qty 500) cost SGD 80–200. Waterproof labels at qty 1,000 cost SGD 150–350. Custom die-cut labels (qty 500) cost SGD 100–300. Flow direction tape costs SGD 5–15 per metre.
What is the minimum order quantity for sticker labels?
Most vinyl sticker and label types have a minimum of 50–100 pieces. There is no minimum for flow direction tape (sold by the metre). Higher quantities reduce the per-unit cost significantly — runs above 1,000 pieces receive volume pricing.
How long do sticker labels last?
Indoor vinyl stickers with laminate last 5–7 years. BOPP labels last 3–5 years including cold-chain cycling. Polyester asset labels last 5+ years. Paper labels last 1–3 years indoors. Outdoor vinyl with UV laminate lasts 2–4 years.
Are your labels waterproof?
BOPP, polyester, and vinyl labels are all waterproof. They resist water, brief submersion, and refrigerated condensation. Paper labels are not waterproof unless laminated. Specify your environment when ordering and we will recommend the correct material.
Can labels be used outdoors?
Vinyl labels with UV-resistant laminate and cast vinyl materials are suitable for outdoor use. BOPP labels are suitable for semi-outdoor applications but not prolonged direct UV. Polyester labels handle outdoor industrial environments well. Paper labels are not suitable for outdoor use.
What adhesive options are available?
Standard permanent adhesive (suitable for most hard surfaces), removable adhesive (clean removal within 6–12 months), freezer-grade adhesive (for cold-chain and frozen food labels applied at low temperatures), and aggressive permanent adhesive for rough or low-energy surfaces such as HDPE containers.
Are the inks eco-friendly and safe for food packaging?
HP Latex inks carry Greenguard Gold certification for low VOC emissions. For direct food-contact labelling, we advise on food-safe topcoat options. Labels printed with Greenguard Gold certified inks are safe for food packaging environments including supermarkets, cafes, and food manufacturing facilities.
How do I apply sticker labels correctly?
Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry completely. Peel the backing liner slowly, position the label, and press firmly from the centre outward to eliminate air bubbles. For large labels, use a squeegee tool. Apply in temperatures between 10°C and 35°C for best adhesion.
Can you print barcodes and QR codes on labels?
Yes. We print GS1-format barcodes (EAN-13, Code 128, QR codes) on labels to the resolution required for reliable scanner reads. For barcode labels intended for supermarket or pharmacy scanning, we recommend testing a proof against your scanner before full production.
What is the turnaround time for sticker labels?
Standard turnaround is 3–5 working days from artwork approval. Small runs of simple vinyl stickers can be completed in 1–2 working days. Large runs above 5,000 pieces or those requiring special substrates may require 5–7 working days.
Do you offer design services for labels?
Yes. Our in-house design team creates label artwork from a brief or adapts your existing brand guidelines. Design is quoted separately. If you provide print-ready PDF or AI files with correct bleed and colour settings, no design charge applies.
